Banc of California (BANC) Posts Q4 Profit of $77.4M, Beats Estimates

Banc of California Inc. (BANC) reported fourth-quarter net income of $77.4 million, or 42 cents per share, on January 21, 2026, surpassing analysts' expectations. Revenue net of interest expense reached $292.9 million, exceeding the $292.7 million forecast from four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research. Total revenue for the quarter was $458.5 million. For the full year, the Los Angeles-based lender posted profit of $229 million, or $1.17 per share, on revenue of $1.12 billion. BANC shares rose more than 9% year-to-date and were trading at $21.10 on Wednesday, up 30% over the past 12 months.
