Beazer Homes USA Inc. (BZH) reported a fiscal Q1 loss of $32.6 million on January 29, 2026, reversing a year-earlier profit, as revenue and adjusted losses missed analyst expectations. The Atlanta-based homebuilder posted an adjusted loss of 90 cents per share, worse than the Zacks consensus estimate of a 49-cent loss. Revenue totaled $363.5 million, falling short of the $423.2 million forecast. Unadjusted, the company lost $1.13 per share. Despite the miss, BZH shares are up 19% year-to-date but have declined 10% over the past 12 months, closing at $24.21 on Thursday. The results reflect ongoing pressure in the housing market amid elevated interest rates and softening demand.
