Fanuc Reports Higher Nine-Month Profit, Raises Full-Year Forecast
Fanuc Corp. reported increased earnings for the nine months ended December 31, 2025, and raised its full-year operating profit forecast. The Japanese industrial robotics and factory automation manufacturer now anticipates an operating profit of ¥213.0 billion ($1.4 billion) for the fiscal year ending March 2026, up from its previous forecast of ¥193.0 billion. For the April-December period, the company's operating profit rose to ¥155.62 billion from ¥144.40 billion a year earlier. The upward revision is attributed to strong demand for factory automation systems and robotics, particularly from the electric vehicle manufacturing sector. Sales for the nine-month period increased to ¥724.05 billion from ¥682.94 billion.
