Jacobs Solutions Appointed to Raytheon Technologies SHIELD Missile Defense Contract (2026-02-10)

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JACO) announced it has been selected by the U.S. Missile Defense Agency to provide engineering, integration, and sustainment services for the Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTY) SHIELD Intermediate-Range Air-to-Air Defense system. The five-year, $190 million contract begins February 1, 2026, and is expected to generate recurring revenue over the life of the agreement. Jacobs will perform installation, maintenance, and logistics support across the continental United States and Alaska. The award follows Jacobs’ acquisition of Raytheon’s defense systems business in 2023, strengthening its position in homeland security and air and missile defense solutions.
