SpaceX to Acquire xAI at 0.1433 Share Exchange Ratio, Source Says

SpaceX will acquire Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI, offering investors 0.1433 shares of SpaceX for each xAI share, according to a source familiar with the matter on February 2, 2026. Some xAI executives may instead receive $75.46 in cash per xAI share as part of the transaction. SpaceX did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
