WISeKey Subsidiary Signs MoU With Spacetalk to Operate Global Space Traffic Platform

WISeKey’s subsidiary has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Spacetalk to operate a platform for global space traffic management, effective January 21, 2026. The agreement enables the joint development of a secure, blockchain-based system to monitor and coordinate satellite movements in low Earth orbit. The platform will leverage WISeKey’s digital identity and cybersecurity infrastructure alongside Spacetalk’s real-time tracking technology. Financial terms were not disclosed. WISeKey (ticker: WKEY) shares rose 3.2% in after-hours trading following the announcement. The collaboration aims to address rising congestion in orbital space, particularly as commercial satellite deployments accelerate globally. Regulatory approval remains pending.
