NXP Semiconductors N.V. (NXPI) reported a decline in fourth-quarter profit on February 2, 2026, as weaker automotive and industrial demand pressured revenue. Net income fell to $287 million, or $1.12 per share, down from $352 million, or $1.36 per share, in the same period a year earlier. Revenue for the quarter totaled $3.12 billion, a 9% year-over-year drop, missing analyst expectations of $3.18 billion. The company cited inventory adjustments in the automotive sector and reduced industrial spending as key headwinds. Despite the softness, NXP maintained its quarterly dividend at $1.75 per share and announced a new $2 billion share repurchase program.
