Packaging Corp. (PKG) Q4 Earnings Miss Estimates on Revenue Shortfall

Packaging Corporation of America (PKG) reported Q4 earnings of $101.8 million, or $1.13 per share, with adjusted EPS of $2.32, missing analyst expectations of $2.41 per share. Revenue of $2.36 billion also fell short of the $2.42 billion forecast. The containerboard and packaging manufacturer's full-year profit was $774.1 million, or $8.58 per share, on revenue of $8.99 billion. The results reflect underperformance against Wall Street projections for both quarterly earnings and sales.
