Tyler Technologies to Acquire For The Record for $258 Million

Tyler Technologies (NYSE: TYL) agreed to acquire For The Record for an enterprise value of $258 million, the company announced on February 3, 2026. The acquisition aims to enhance Tyler’s court technology offerings by integrating For The Record’s digital courtroom solutions. For The Record provides cloud-based audio and video recording systems used in judicial proceedings across the U.S. and internationally. Tyler expects the deal to be accretive to non-GAAP earnings per share within the first year post-closing. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to finalize in the first half of 2026.
