Apple Opens $250 Million Siri AI Settlement Claims; iPhone Users May Get Up to $95

Apple began accepting claims on Sept. 21, 2026, in a $250 million class-action settlement over allegations it falsely advertised Siri AI features for the iPhone 16, released in September 2024. Eligible U.S. customers who bought an iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025, may receive $25 to $95 per device. Claimants must be original purchasers, not resale buyers, and must attest they expected undelivered Siri Apple Intelligence features. The filing deadline is Dec. 21, 2026. Payments may be reduced pro rata based on total valid claims. A final approval hearing is set for Feb. 24, 2027; appeals could delay payouts. Apple denied wrongdoing before settling in May. The disputed Siri features ultimately shipped with iOS 27 in September 2026.
