Apple Opens Claims Window for $250 Million Siri AI Settlement; Deadline Dec. 21

Apple began accepting claims on Sept. 21, 2026, from a $250 million class-action settlement over alleged deceptive advertising of Apple Intelligence and Siri features on iPhone 16 models. Eligible iPhone owners have until Dec. 21, 2026, to file online at aplsconnect.com/smartphoneaisettlement. Claimants must have purchased an iPhone 16, 16e, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16 Pro Max, 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max between June 10, 2024, and March 29, 2025. Payouts are set at $25 per device, potentially rising to $95 depending on approved claims. The suit, filed in March 2025, alleged Apple promoted a "dramatically enhanced Siri" that did not exist at the iPhone 16 launch. Apple denied wrongdoing. A final approval hearing is scheduled for Feb. 24, 2027.
