Analog Devices (ADI) shares climbed to $420.75 on May 27, 2026, from $414.31 before its fiscal first-quarter release, after revenue and non-GAAP earnings exceeded Wall Street expectations. Strength came from industrial automation and data-center markets. Chief Executive Officer Vincent T. Roche said supply-chain investments allowed the chipmaker to capture sudden demand surges. During the call, analysts probed the adoption pace of Empower’s integrated voltage-regulator technology for AI infrastructure and the sustainability of industrial and automotive content wins. Management cautioned that macroeconomic and geopolitical headwinds continue to shape customer inventory patterns. Future performance will hinge on new design-in execution and how capacity constraints affect gross margins as production scales.
