Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft CEOs to Attend White House State Dinner for Xi Jinping

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg will attend a White House state dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday, September 24, 2026, according to people familiar with the matter. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon will join him. OpenAI President Greg Brockman and CEO Sam Altman will also attend, the company said Monday. Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella is expected as well, alongside Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai, Apple Chairman Tim Cook and Dell founder Michael Dell. The gathering convenes the technology industry's most influential figures as debate intensifies over AI regulation and U.S.-China competition for AI dominance. Senior U.S. officials said Xi is not expected to bring a business delegation, casting doubt on whether new commercial agreements will emerge.
