Alstom Signs €700 Million Framework Deal With Northrail for Up to 100 Traxx Shunter Locomotives

Alstom SA (ALSMY, ALO.PA) announced Wednesday a framework agreement with Northrail valued at up to €700 million for the supply of as many as 100 Traxx Shunter locomotives. The Paris-based rail equipment manufacturer said the deal covers the delivery of the shunting locomotives under the multi-year framework. No delivery schedule or individual order values were disclosed. Alstom shares trade on Euronext Paris under ALO.PA and over the counter in the US under ALSMY. The company did not specify whether the agreement includes maintenance or service components.
