Anixa Biosciences Secures Australian Patent for Breast Cancer Vaccine Through 2040

Anixa Biosciences Inc. (ANIX) said IP Australia issued Patent No. 2020221280 covering its breast cancer vaccine technology, extending intellectual property protection for the program through 2040. The patent applies to technology exclusively licensed from Cleveland Clinic, the clinical-stage biotechnology company said on September 21, 2026. The Australian grant adds to Anixa's international patent estate for the vaccine candidate, which remains in clinical development. Financial terms of the patent issuance were not disclosed.
