Arm Holdings said Chinese tech firm ByteDance and U.S. cloud giant Oracle are customers of its AI data center chips, CEO Rene Haas announced on June 2, 2026, at the Computex conference in Taipei. The customers are using Arm’s AGI central processing units, a chip line designed for artificial intelligence workloads, Haas said. The disclosure signals growing traction for Arm’s push beyond mobile processors into the lucrative server CPU market, where it competes with Intel and Advanced Micro Devices. Arm’s expansion into data center silicon has drawn attention as demand for AI computing infrastructure surges. The adoption by ByteDance and Oracle provides a high-profile endorsement for the technology, potentially influencing future deals with other hyperscale cloud providers. Arm shares (NASDAQ: ARM) may be sensitive to the update as investors assess its ability to capture market share in the AI server segment.
