Alibaba Group reported a 3% rise in fiscal fourth-quarter revenue on May 13, 2026, missing analyst estimates despite stronger demand in its cloud computing and artificial intelligence businesses. Revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2026, was 243.38 billion yuan, or $35.84 billion, below the LSEG consensus estimate of 247.22 billion yuan from 20 analysts. The company said its e-commerce business also benefited from a new round of Chinese government subsidies. The results highlight continued growth in Alibaba’s cloud and AI operations, while its core online retail business remains exposed to competitive pressure and consumer demand trends in China.
