CME Group will add Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) single-asset futures to its regulated crypto lineup on October 19, 2026, pending regulatory review, the exchange said Tuesday. The contracts will offer standard and micro sizes: 250 BCH and 25 BCH, and 10,000 UNI and 1,000 UNI, respectively. BCH traded at $338, up over 25% on the day, with a $6 billion market cap. UNI changed hands at $9.28, up 5.5% in 24 hours, at a $5.75 billion market cap. Bitcoin Cash split from Bitcoin in 2017 for larger blocks and cheaper payments; Uniswap operates crypto's largest decentralized exchange, with UNI serving as its governance token. The launch follows CME's 2026 rollout of Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui futures, which the exchange said generated more than $1 billion in notional value year-to-date. CME crypto futures and options averaged 279,800 contracts daily in the first half of 2026, worth $8.3 billion in notional volume.
