On June 2, 2026, crypto exchange Bitget unveiled Stocks 2.0, an upgraded tokenized stock product that directly connects to order books on Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange. The launch brings real US equity market liquidity into Bitget’s app, covering 36 stocks and ETFs including Apple, Amazon, Tesla, and NVIDIA. The product uses a 1:1 asset mapping mechanism, enabling zero-slippage trades settled in USDT. Cash dividends are automatically distributed in USDT, and corporate actions such as stock splits are mirrored in token holdings. Stocks 2.0 tokens can be used within Bitget’s unified account, margin, spot grid, copy trading, and yield products. Trading fees start at 0.1%, with a 0.05% rate when using the BGB token. Bitget reported cumulative tokenized stock spot volume surpassed $1 billion as of January 2026, and the exchange captured around 89% of Ondo-issued tokenized stock trading volume in December 2025. The company sees tokenized real-world assets as a key growth area.
