British American Tobacco PLC (BTI, BATS.L, BMT.DE, BTI.JO) said on September 29, 2026, that it expects fiscal 2026 revenue and adjusted operating profit growth toward the lower end of its 3-5% and 4-6% guidance ranges, respectively. Adjusted EPS growth is projected near the middle of its 5-8% range, all at constant rates. The guidance came ahead of BAT's Capital Markets Day, where the company outlined its "Horizon 2030" strategy. BAT targets mid-teens annual New Category revenue growth through 2030, with New Category contribution margin reaching at least 30% by that year. The company said it is positioned to deliver sustainable shareholder value in a growing global nicotine industry, though near-term growth is weighted toward the bottom of prior guidance.
