China's stock market may resume declines on Wednesday after the Shanghai Composite Index edged up 6.83 points, or 0.18%, to close at 3,830.45 on Tuesday, snapping a three-day slump that erased over 120 points, or 4.1%. The Shenzhen Composite added 9.90 points, or 0.41%, to 2,410.04. Asian bourses are expected to track Wall Street lower ahead of key U.S. inflation data. The Dow fell 131.59 points, or 0.26%, to 51,359.92; the NASDAQ lost 22.84 points, or 0.09%, to 26,797.54; and the S&P 500 dropped 12.85 points, or 0.17%, to 7,670.84. Investors await China's September NBS manufacturing, non-manufacturing and composite PMIs, plus Caixin's August manufacturing and services readings.
