Century Casinos to Sell Alberta Racing, Gaming Assets for $16.4 Million

(CNTY) said Monday it agreed to sell the racing and gaming operations of Century Mile Racetrack and Casino in Edmonton and Century Downs Racetrack and Casino in Calgary to Highfield Investment Group for about $16.4 million. The transaction covers two Alberta properties, divesting the company of its Canadian racetrack and casino holdings in those markets. Terms beyond the purchase price were not disclosed.
