Coinbase will begin offering IPO share allocations to eligible U.S. retail customers on Sept. 21, 2026, starting with smart-ring maker Oura's Nasdaq listing. Users can request shares at the IPO price through the Coinbase app before public trading begins. Oura plans to list under the ticker "OURA," offering 50 million shares at an expected $40 to $44 each. Participants must fund their accounts and submit a "Conditional Offer to Buy" after the price range is published, plus complete a FINRA restricted-status questionnaire. Allocations are not guaranteed and may be filled fully, partially, or rejected. Coinbase said its allocation algorithm prioritizes long-term holders; selling IPO shares within 30 days may trigger a 60-day ban from future participation. The move expands Coinbase's push beyond crypto trading into the "Everything Exchange."
