Compass Acquires Dallas Brokerage Paragon Realtors, Adding 85 Agents to DFW Operations
Compass merged with Dallas-based boutique brokerage Paragon Realtors this week, adding 85 agents to its North Texas operations. Paragon closed over $260 million in real estate volume in the past year. The deal marks Compass's third DFW acquisition in a year, following Rogers Healy and Associates and Bray Real Estate Group, bringing 400 new agents total. Paragon founder Mike Miller said the merger was necessary because independent boutiques can no longer compete without access to large-scale technology and resources. About 35 Sherman, Texas-based agents will operate as the Paragon Group under Compass's broker of record, while 40 to 45 will work from Compass's East Dallas office. Compass entered the DFW market in 2018 and now has approximately 600 real estate teams and over 1,650 agents in the region.
