CoreWeave Goes Live With Multi-Rack Nvidia Vera Rubin Cluster, Scales Agentic AI Cloud

CoreWeave (CRWV) said it has moved Nvidia's (NVDA) Vera Rubin NVL72 rack-scale system into production across multiple racks, linking hundreds of Rubin GPUs into a single scale-out cluster via Spectrum-X Ethernet and ConnectX-9 SuperNICs. The milestone extends a June validation of one NVL72 rack, which packs 72 Rubin GPUs and 36 Vera CPUs. The company reported Q2 2026 revenue of $2.6 billion, up 116.7% year over year, with a net loss of $1.14 per share, its third straight quarter of widening losses. Backlog reached $104 billion as of June 30, excluding $25 billion in new commitments. Full-year capital expenditure guidance rose to $35 billion-$39 billion. CoreWeave reaffirmed plans for 1.85 gigawatts of active power capacity by year-end and 8 gigawatts by 2030. Analysts rate CRWV "Moderate Buy" with a mean $140.19 target.
