Bell Canada, Cisco Sign MoU to Build Sovereign AI Infrastructure for Canada

Bell Canada International Inc. (BCICF.PK) and Cisco Systems, Inc. (CSCO) announced a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, to collaborate on a sovereign AI infrastructure offering for Canada. The partnership will combine Bell's Canadian data center space, power, cooling, physical security, connectivity and operations services with Cisco's AI infrastructure, security, observability and sovereign critical infrastructure technologies. The companies will evaluate integrating Cisco AI PODs architectures, which provide modular building blocks for AI workloads, with Canadian infrastructure and connectivity. They will also examine flexible consumption models to help customers align costs with AI infrastructure usage.
