DoorDash (DASH) opened a global technology hub in Hyderabad on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and plans to add 3,000 jobs there over the next two years, according to the Telangana state government. The center will open with 500 employees, initially organized around customer support plus general and administrative roles. It is DoorDash's third customer support operations hub worldwide, alongside Tempe, Arizona, and Mexico City. The Hyderabad site is DoorDash's first office in India under its own name. The company already operates in Pune, focused on software, data and analytics, acquired through its 2021 purchase of robotics startup Chowbotics. India has become the world's largest hub for global capability centers, which employ roughly 2.36 million workers across more than 2,100 sites and generate close to $100 billion in revenue, per a 2026 Nasscom-Zinnov report.
