Decoy Therapeutics (DCOY) said on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, that preclinical pharmacokinetic data support once-weekly intranasal dosing of its lead antiviral program DCOY-CoV, which targets endemic human coronaviruses. A single intranasal dose sustained drug levels above designed therapeutic concentrations in nasal and lung tissues for up to seven days in preclinical studies, the company said, supporting potential extended respiratory protection. DCOY-CoV is designed to target conserved mechanisms across coronaviruses, including SARS-CoV-2 and common cold coronaviruses. Decoy said the program targets high-risk populations, including immunocompromised individuals and patients with chronic respiratory conditions. The company expects DCOY-CoV to enter clinical trials in 2027. DCOY closed Monday at $2.31, down 25.24%. In pre-market trading Tuesday, the stock was at $2.30, down 0.37%.
