3D Systems shares jump as DDD posts smaller loss, revenue beat

3D Systems Corp. (NYSE: DDD) shares rose 19.2% in morning trading on May 15, 2026, after the 3D printing company reported first-quarter 2026 results that topped Wall Street estimates for revenue and earnings. Revenue rose 1.1% year over year to $95.54 million, beating analyst forecasts by 3.6%. The company’s GAAP loss narrowed to 3 cents a share from 28 cents a year earlier, ahead of consensus expectations for an 11-cent loss. 3D Systems also reported adjusted EBITDA of $774,000, reversing a year-earlier loss, and reduced cash burn, signaling progress on cost controls. The stock is up 59.3% year to date but, at $2.95, remains 22% below its 52-week high of $3.78 reached in October 2025.
