Disney Raises Disney+ and Hulu Prices for Fourth Time in Four Years

Disney (DIS) is raising prices on several streaming plans, with customers to be notified as early as Sept. 23, 2026, according to Bloomberg. Ad-free Disney+ rises to $21.49 per month, up $2.50, or 13%. Ad-free Hulu increases by the same amount. Ad-supported standalone plans for both services rise 50 cents to $12.49. The ad-free Disney+/Hulu bundle rises $2 to $21.99 monthly; the ad-supported version stays at $12.99. The ad-supported Disney+, Hulu and ESPN bundle increases $2 to $21.99, and its ad-free Premium Select tier rises $3 to $32.99. Unlimited three-service bundles remain at $35.99 and $44.99. It marks Disney's fourth streaming price increase in four years, following similar moves by Apple TV, Peacock and Netflix. The industry has prioritized profit over subscriber counts. Disney's fiscal third-quarter entertainment streaming revenue grew 11% to $5.53 billion, with segment operating income of $1.68 billion.
