Dolby, Meta Partner to Bring Dolby Atmos Audio Capture to Meta AI Glasses

Dolby Laboratories (DLB) and Meta (META) announced an expansion of Dolby experiences across Meta's device and platform ecosystem on Sept. 24, 2026. Meta AI glasses become the first global consumer device capable of capturing audio in Dolby Atmos. Users will be able to record immersive, spatial audio directly through the eyewear, extending Dolby's audio technology into Meta's wearables lineup. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed. The deal deepens Dolby's presence in consumer hardware beyond home entertainment and cinema, while Meta adds a premium audio capability to differentiate its AI glasses.
