Dollar Tree (NASDAQ: DLTR) opened a 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Litchfield Park, Arizona, on May 14, 2026, expanding its logistics capacity in the Southwest. The retailer plans to begin outbound deliveries in June 2026. The climate-controlled facility, one of Dollar Tree’s largest, will serve about 700 stores across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah. Dollar Tree now operates 19 distribution centers supporting more than 9,240 stores across North America. The project is part of a broader distribution network overhaul that includes modernized warehouse and yard management systems, cloud-based inventory tools and temperature-controlled storage across all distribution centers. Dollar Tree said the upgrades are intended to improve product flow, reduce out-of-stock items and strengthen costs. The company plans to open another 1 million-square-foot distribution center in Marietta, Oklahoma, in 2027 after rebuilding a facility destroyed by a tornado in April 2024.
