Dynatrace (DT) heads into Q1 earnings with 17% revenue growth expected

Dynatrace (NYSE: DT) is scheduled to report fiscal first-quarter results on May 20, 2026, with analysts expecting revenue to rise 17% from a year earlier, roughly in line with the 16.9% growth posted in the year-earlier quarter. The cloud observability software company beat revenue expectations in the prior quarter, reporting $515.5 million in sales, up 18.2% year over year. It also issued full-year and next-quarter EPS guidance above Wall Street estimates. Analyst estimates have been largely unchanged over the past 30 days. Peer results have been supportive: Datadog reported 32.2% revenue growth, beating estimates by 4.9%, while F5 revenue rose 11%, topping forecasts by 3.7%. Datadog shares gained 38.9% after results, and F5 rose 8%. Dynatrace shares are up 20.1% over the past month, compared with a 17.4% average gain across software development stocks, and trade at $40.55 versus an average analyst price target of $47.75.
