FedEx Corporation (FDX) announced a significant decline in its fourth-quarter earnings, reporting results below analyst expectations for the period ended May 31, 2026. The package delivery giant's bottom line retreated as operational costs rose and revenue growth slowed. Net income for Q4 fiscal 2026 fell to $1.4 billion, or $5.30 per share, a 22% decrease from $1.8 billion, or $6.87 per share, in the same period last year. Total revenue for the quarter also saw a modest dip, registering at $22.8 billion, down 3% year-over-year from $23.5 billion. The company attributed the softer performance to continued macroeconomic headwinds impacting global shipping volumes and increased labor and fuel expenses. FedEx shares closed at $255.10 on June 23, 2026, ahead of the announcement.
