CMA CGM Completes $1.4B FedEx Supply Chain Acquisition, Tripling Ceva's North American Warehouses
CMA CGM Group said on Oct. 1, 2026, it completed its $1.4 billion acquisition of FedEx Supply Chain, the contract logistics arm of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), first announced July 1. The deal triples Ceva Logistics's North American warehouse footprint, adding roughly 34 million square feet, 130 customers and 20,000 workers. The combined business operates about 150 warehouses, expanding Ceva to more than 240 North American locations. Under the agreement, CMA CGM becomes a preferred ocean carrier for FedEx over several years, and the companies will collaborate on air cargo capacity on key routes including Asia-Europe. FedEx Supply Chain accounts for less than 2% of FedEx's consolidated annual revenue; FedEx will focus on freight and parcel delivery.
