Figma raises 2026 revenue forecast as AI tools lift paid adoption
Figma raised its 2026 revenue outlook on May 14, 2026, citing stronger adoption of its artificial intelligence tools and increased use among large corporate customers. Shares rose 15% in extended trading. The design software company now expects 2026 revenue of $1.42 billion to $1.43 billion, up from its prior forecast of $1.36 billion to $1.37 billion. Figma forecast second-quarter revenue of $348 million to $350 million, above analysts’ estimate of $327 million, according to LSEG. First-quarter revenue for the period ended March 31, 2026, was $333.4 million, topping estimates of $313.2 million. Figma began enforcing AI credit limits in March 2026 and selling add-ons to users exceeding plan limits. The company said more than 75% of Org and Enterprise users that had previously exceeded AI credit limits continued using credits in April 2026. CFO Praveer Melwani said Figma is monitoring competitive threats from AI design tools, including Anthropic’s Claude Design, unveiled in April 2026.
