EQT Partners With Google Cloud to Accelerate AI Deployment Across Portfolio Companies

Swedish investment firm EQT AB (STO:EQT) announced a strategic partnership with Google Cloud on May 28, 2026, to drive artificial intelligence adoption among its portfolio companies. The collaboration will make Google Cloud’s AI platform available as a preferred technology option, including enterprise-grade AI agents and large language models under a licensing model. The package features Google Agentspace and Vertex AI, aiming to help EQT-backed firms integrate AI into operations, product development, and customer engagement. EQT will provide implementation support through its digital team. Financial terms were not disclosed. The initiative builds on EQT’s earlier creation of an AI Council, which evaluates AI opportunities across its global investments. EQT CEO Christian Sinding said the partnership will provide portfolio companies with tools to boost productivity and revenue growth, reflecting the firm’s focus on leveraging technology to enhance value creation.
