Google Cloud Partners With Murex to Certify MX.3 Capital Markets Platform

Alphabet Inc.'s Google Cloud (GOOG, GOOGL) said on Sept. 23, 2026, it partnered with financial technology provider Murex to certify deployment of the MX.3 capital markets platform on its infrastructure, expanding cloud options for banks and trading firms running the cross-asset system. The certification allows Murex clients to run MX.3 on Google Cloud, giving financial institutions an alternative to on-premise or rival cloud hosting for trading, risk and post-trade operations. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The deal adds to Google Cloud's push into capital markets infrastructure, where it competes with Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure for financial services workloads.
