Hyatt Appoints Amar Lalvani as First Chief Creative Officer; Shares Fall 1.63%
Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) named Amar Lalvani its first-ever Chief Creative Officer on September 30, 2026, effective immediately, expanding his current role as President & Creative Director of the company's Lifestyle Group. Lalvani will work with global teams, developers and hotel owners to sharpen each brand's identity through design, guest experience and culture. He joined Hyatt in 2024 following its acquisition of Standard International, bringing the teams behind The Standard and Bunkhouse Hotels to form the Lifestyle Group's foundation. Lalvani, with more than 25 years in hospitality, previously led global development for W Hotels before acquiring The Standard brand and expanding it through Bunkhouse Hotels and concepts including The StandardX and The Manner. Hyatt shares were trading 1.63% lower at $159.37 on the NYSE.
