Integra LifeSciences Hits 100-Patient Milestone in AERA Pediatric Registry; Stock Down 0.15%
Integra LifeSciences (IART) said Tuesday its AERA Pediatric Registry has enrolled 100 patients, one-third of the planned 300-patient target in a prospective, multicenter study evaluating real-world use of its Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation System in children. Enrollment covers patients aged eight and older with obstructive Eustachian tube dysfunction at U.S. clinical sites. The registry, launched in July 2025, is designed to generate real-world evidence to inform clinical decision-making for pediatric ETD. The Acclarent AERA system received FDA clearance for the pediatric indication in December 2023, covering patients aged eight to 17 with persistent obstructive ETD associated with chronic otitis media with effusion refractory to at least one surgical intervention. IART traded between $8.70 and $20.49 over the past year and was recently at $16.24, down 0.15%.
