Immix Biopharma's NXC-201 Hits 89% Complete Response Rate in AL Amyloidosis Trial; Shares Fall 4.66%

Immix Biopharma (IMMX) reported on September 29, 2026, that an interim Phase 2 NEXICART-2 update showed an 89% complete response rate with investigational NXC-201 in relapsed/refractory AL amyloidosis. The BCMA-targeted CAR-T therapy produced complete responses in 40 of 45 patients, with four additional MRD-negative patients potentially raising the CR rate to 98%. No relapses occurred among patients achieving CR or MRD-negativity, and no neurotoxicity or enterocolitis was observed. The company plans a final study readout and BLA submission in 2027.
