InnoCare (INCP) Orelabrutinib Meets Primary Endpoint in Phase 2b Lupus Trial

InnoCare Pharma Ltd. (Nasdaq: INCP) on June 5, 2026, said its BTK inhibitor orelabrutinib met the primary endpoint in a Phase 2b study for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). The drug demonstrated a statistically significant improvement in SRI-4 response rate at 24 weeks, with 56% of patients on the highest dose achieving response compared to 34% on placebo (p=0.008). Key secondary endpoints, including reductions in disease activity scores and oral corticosteroid use, also favored orelabrutinib.
