Argentina's agricultural export revenues totaled $2.68 billion in May, a 12% decline from the same month a year earlier, the CIARA-CEC grain processors and exporters chamber reported on June 1, 2026. The country is the world's largest exporter of soybean oil and meal, as well as a key supplier of corn and wheat. The monthly figure represented a 7% increase from April's level, according to the chamber's statement. The year-on-year drop reflects ongoing challenges in the farm sector, including currency controls and weather-related disruptions that have weighed on production and shipments.
