DLC sold the Randhurst Village shopping center in Mount Prospect, Illinois, to Rhino Investment Group for $95 million, nearly doubling the $50 million the firm paid in 2015, amid sustained investor demand for suburban Chicago retail. The Elmsford, New York-based retail specialist repositioned the Costco-, Jewel-Osco- and Home Depot-anchored property by splitting a former 200,000-square-foot Carson Pirie Scott space into storefronts now leased to Macy's and HomeGoods, and dividing a former Bed Bath & Beyond into Skechers and Nike locations. NWS Architects and Renovo Construction handled upgrades. Newmark's Conor Lalor and Keely Polczynski represented DLC in the sale. The deal extends a broader suburban Chicago investment surge. Interra Realty reported multifamily sales volume rose more than 67 percent year over year in the first two quarters of 2026, with $335 million in suburban multifamily deals closing in a single week earlier in September.
