Engineered components and systems companies reported first-quarter aggregate revenues 3.8% above analyst consensus on June 5, 2026, while next quarter’s revenue guidance was in line, signaling steady demand. Sector shares have since gained 9.9% on average. Arrow Electronics (NYSE:ARW) posted the strongest performance, with revenue surging 39% to $9.47 billion and beating estimates by 12.9%. Its stock has risen 16.9%. By contrast, Gates Industrial Corporation (NYSE:GTES) was the group’s weakest, reporting flat revenue of $851.1 million and missing forecasts by 1.3%; the stock is up only 2%. ESCO (NYSE:ESE) also fell short, while Regal Rexnord (NYSE:RRX) and Worthington (NYSE:WOR) exceeded expectations. The results reflect resilient demand for automation and connected equipment, though individual company execution varied widely.
