Paper Transport Marks 10 Years Hauling Green Bay Packers Game-Day Gear

Paper Transport Inc. has served as the Green Bay Packers' official dedicated carrier for away-game equipment for 10 years, Chief Corporate Development Officer Ben Schill said. The 750-truck fleet loads out Wednesday or Thursday, arriving at destination stadiums before the team to unload sideline equipment and meet the team plane on the tarmac. Helmets, game-time shoulder pads and coaches' outfits travel on the team aircraft, while PTI hauls backup gear and all sideline material. For international games, PTI moves equipment to a U.S. airport gateway for transfer to air cargo bound for London or other overseas venues. More than 90% of PTI's asset-based freight revenue is dedicated. Schill named three acquisition targets: dedicated carriers fitting its core model, Wisconsin density plays, and higher-value end markets. PTI also donates $0.50 per mile on Packers freight to Truckers Against Trafficking.
