MiNK Therapeutics Selected for ARPA-H Cell Therapy Storage Program; INKT Shares Rise
MiNK Therapeutics (INKT) said its agenT-797 iNKT cell therapy platform was selected for an ARPA-H-funded initiative to enable room-temperature storage and transport of cell therapies, the company announced Wednesday. The program is part of ARPA-H's four-year BioStabilization Systems (BoSS) initiative, which has committed up to $87 million to reduce reliance on cryogenic cold-chain infrastructure. MiNK will join a team led by Draper developing stabilization technologies using AI-assisted design and freeze-assisted droplet drying. The company will contribute its allogeneic iNKT platform, cGMP manufacturing capabilities and cell-therapy development expertise. INKT shares closed Tuesday at $12.26, up 1.24%, and rose 3.89% to $12.74 in premarket trading.
