INmune Bio (INMB) Reports Statistically Significant White Matter Biomarker Improvement in Alzheimer’s Trial
INmune Bio Inc. (NASDAQ: INMB) said its Phase 2 Alzheimer’s disease trial met a key biomarker goal, with patients showing a statistically significant improvement in white matter integrity after six months of treatment. The June 2, 2026, announcement strengthens the case for XPro, the company’s experimental therapy targeting neuroinflammation. The placebo-controlled study enrolled 202 patients with mild Alzheimer’s. Those receiving XPro demonstrated increased fractional anisotropy—a measure of white matter health—on MRI scans versus placebo, a sign the therapy may slow disease progression. INmune Bio reported no new safety concerns. The results position the company to pursue regulatory discussions about a pivotal trial design. Shares have been pressured ahead of the readout amid broader biotech weakness.
