Innovent's Jaypirca Wins Expanded NMPA Approval for CLL/SLL Across All Lines of Therapy

Innovent Biologics Inc. (IVBXF) said China's National Medical Products Administration approved Jaypirca (pirtobrutinib) as a monotherapy for adults with chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma across all lines of therapy. The expanded label covers all treatment lines in the indication, broadening the drug's addressable patient population beyond its prior approval scope in China. Innovent holds exclusive rights to develop and commercialize pirtobrutinib in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau under a licensing agreement with Eli Lilly's Loxo Oncology. Financial terms of the approval and expected launch timing were not disclosed.
