Jade Biosciences Inc. (JBIO) said it plans to advance its investigational anti-IFN-Beta antibody JADE301 into a placebo-controlled Phase 1 trial in 24 healthy volunteers in the fourth quarter of 2026, with interim results expected in the second half of 2027. The Phase 1 study will assess safety and tolerability, pharmacokinetics and immunogenicity. The decision follows preclinical data showing JADE301 binds IFN-Beta with high affinity and no detectable binding to other interferon family proteins, per the company. In human cell studies, the candidate showed greater functional potency than a dazukibart comparator for IFN-Beta signaling. In non-human primates, subcutaneous JADE301 had an approximately 25-day half-life with predictable muscle distribution and was well tolerated at doses up to 200 mg/kg every two weeks. JBIO closed Sept. 29, 2026, at $14.18, down 1.18%. Shares have traded between $8.16 and $28.00 over the past year.
